the last photo, is from the aye isn't it? always thought it was phallic.

Yes it was taken from opposite end just under the AYE. Not a fan of the Durian as it did nothing to symbolized our cultural soul and progress.
However as structural point of view, it did has it's own moment.
Remember 5th Nov, a structure has little meaning without ideals.
