Hope to Illusion

Given the facts that the Worker Party marshalled by Gen Secretary Low T K and Sylvia Lim in GE 2006, the WP had brought a non believer of Singapore into a believer that something might have come good as the incumbent old man slowly aging along. Despite a well orchestrated campaign with many key points identitied and argue upon, the WP once again has offered a credible force built for the next election. Resolute, focus, ground level up, excellent youth awareness [credit: James Gomez] and passion. They had given the incumbent & money minded gov a good memorable fight. Counting aside the GE 1997, Cheng San contest, the 2006 GE rested on the Aljunied ward was a very crucial staging and building up point for a growing WP. However, many Singaporean were not ready to accept an alternative politic's voice. The incumbent party has been throwing out $$ and goodies to entice the voters, it appeared that it had work well them again.

Contrary, our PM has even vowed to fix the alternative parties if they were elected because he deemed that he will have to allocate time to fend them off than doing his job. Haiz...such argument. Given the facts i had gathered a lots of insight to the campaign and unwilling, i am too upset to go further. But one point that he did fixed was SM. He again has completely sold himself out morally and my prediction is....once the old man has gone into the grave, a party severance will occured and i rest assured that the choice 25% of the voters making is going to cost us a lot of pain and money. That's providing SM is thick skinned enough to hang on to his job when his followers has been going thru a renewal process,

Once again, i retreat myself and sit down to think should i give this hinterland a chance and step forward or simply just plan ahead that some place elses could be much worthy for me.

Still i would like to show my deepest admiration and appreciation to all the members of the WP for what they had stood for and injecting the goodness and fighting spirits that will save the nation from losing it's soul and in bleeding.

Time will erodes the olds and raise the youngs to continue the struggle against almighty one.
