Excellent software to manage battery life in a Centrino based notebook

Hey folks, i am back.

For those who are strapping on their Centrino notebook for majority of their work and kept wondering how to extend its battery life.

My IBM T40 is using Banias processor while my HP NX7010 is running on a Dothan processor.
