iPod Update 26 Jun 05
For those who have need lugging their beloved iPod for mobile entertainment, now it is your turn to return your love to your iPod by updating new "intelligence" [Firmware] into it.
So far my iPod Shuffle do not required update as it was shipped as release 1.1. My iPod G4 20B was subsequently updated to r3.1 and i believed the updates also includes iPod G3 and mini as well.

I read about all this new features for the new IPOD. $299 for 20GB? And they're going to cut the price for the 1GB shuffle by $20. Which is what I was planning to get end of this year.

Due to the over stocking of iPods, there going to be world wide price slash to lower profit margin for all MP3 players. U getting the Shuffle?
I still think the iPod 4G 20Gb is a very good bargain. And iPod Color 20GB was just announced few days back.
Will see more action from Apple.
