Random thoughts, May 06

Today, i just found an old storage comrade hiding in a Japanese IT company, just likes everything in life was pretty random and unpredictable, i thought i lost contact with him when he resigned from Sanz data and there i found him hiding in a cosy Japanese firm. Indeed this is a small island.

Was'nt much following on American Idol 06, but i bet by now all knew Talyor Hicks won it by a good margin. Despite having as much grey hair as me, he showed pretty good showmanship through the competition. As how he won it, someone has some good answers. Or rather why Katharine lost it....was also here as well.

After the GE 2006, i bet many of us are leaving a very sour taste in our taste buds in regards to our incumbent's conduct and strategies. Not only they completely missed addressing our issues and nation's challenges, and the facts that they were having the media trumpeting their empty vessel did not helped the causes. With their biased projection from the media, many of us turned to internet to gather more news. Now that the Post GE forum was brought upon for discussion, Denise Phua who presented PAP really did a bad job indeed. Not only she failed to understand the root causes of why people alienating the ruling party, she insteads focus on how to manage the internet to have a balanced view. What's a total fuck up. Yawningbread gave a very good account on her opinion and views in the forum.

"

This suggests that she belongs to the set known as the "politically apathetic Singaporean". Beyond lack of interest, one fears she may not even have the instincts to know how upset many Singaporeans have been through the years about PAP policies and their style. Does she have appropriate listening skills? Is she sensitive enough to political feelings?

Yet she's a member of parliament now. Presumably, the cabinet will depend on feedback from people like her while formulating policies. One wonders, what kind of feedback she will provide when her political IQ seems so undeveloped?""

What's a disappointment.
