Some nice pictures tat i took in Bangkok, Land of the smiling people

Below i will be posting some of the pix that i had taken in Thailand. Some of them are taken at Petchaburi and Nakornpathom province. I hope this is the 1st steps to a nice little picture blog.

This is my 1st day at BBK, while waiting for Khun Lily to join us in the night, Khun Nung brought me to this park for a leisure walk and sight seeing. Everything is so relax there...since that day was Thailand's holiday. As usual, i donning my Adidas Ts.

The second day, we drove to Nakornpathom for some sightseeing before we planned to pick up Khun Ivy at the Airport and headed straight to Petchaburi province.

Lily tasted her 1st lunch @Orchid restaurant and before going to the Thai Human Imagery Museum, in short basically a wax museum.

After lunch, we hit to the local famous temple called Phra Prathon Chedi. A very majestic temple.

Petchaburi, we had phototaking at the beach before heading to Lucky Seafood restaurant and adjourned to MRIGADAYAVAN Palace, the home of RAMA VI. Khun Lily and Ivy were impressed how simple the king live their life. :) Next is retail therapy @Factory Outlet, very American styled. All brands you could imagined are taking retail spaces there.

Singapore's retailer watch out.

And lastly...my favorite Phad Thai :P

Why Professional use Mac

This guy must have mustered quite a helluva of reasons to justify buying a Mac, and i swore that some of his points were pretty valids. So if u are along the edgy type of Mac's buyer wannade...looks no further.

Buy Buy

Cabestan

Every once a while, a revolutionary time piece will be designed and made with the highest attention and precision just to tell time. Little wonder wht mankind spend so much time and effort in making a watch? Are'nt they just time keeper ? Well, nothing is eternal but time and time TIME has proven the best cure for everythings that is bad. E.g, when you lost your loved one, is'nt time erodes that sad feeling?

So creating time is an art for those who can appreciate the precision and time spent on putting those little etched metal together.

Cabestan as it's was christened was made to move eye. Created and designed by Jean-Francois Ruchonnet and Vianney Halter. Jean-Francois is the famed designed for TAG Heuer's famous Monaco V4 concept watch where it was wore by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape.

Fashion sense ~ Alternative Apparel

I used to love HANE T-shirt in those poly days where you get a handful of them at Metro [Far East Plaza], Peninsular Plaza and Queensway for a tidy small sum of money on Beefy Ts. In facts i still have couple of them wrapped in the plastic bags that spanned likes 10 yrs.

Alternative Apparel apparently aimed to focus on customer's fitting and create a unique sense of fashion. The material reported at Cool hunter are softer, finer texture than most americal apparels. And they were all pre-washed and pre-shrinked to fit, very much likes Levi's jean processing.

So if you are sick of anything elses but needing something alternative, try purchase them online. A bit pricey i would said. So who said customer's focused is going to be cheap?

New Advert Style

Ever come across using Herd of sheeps as advert board? Now u see it :D

Sawasdee Khrap--Re-edit

Just gotten back from Thailand Vacation again, this time i have the luxury of having Lily and Ivy hopping in as company as well. Hee...the girls sure get pretty excited going to BBK to buy bras.

Khun Nung showed us to around to various locations at Nakornpathom and Petchaburi provinces. :) Ivy and Lily also get the chance to eat some of the finest delicacies in Thailand in this trip.

First off is the food at the Orchid garden where Lily gets to taste some most authentic thai foods likes fried salt water fish, fried flowers and tom yom. After the food, the girls took a stroll at Orchid garden to ease off the food they ate. There Khun Lily posing with her Ultra Man sun glasses. Cool right? The next picture showed us eating at Lucky Restaurant @Petchaburi province where the raan aahan thai was situated near the wharf, one would not need to imagine how fresh the seafood can get. Again, the girl feasted on likes no tomorrow. hahaha :D

At Petchaburi province, Khun Jaeb, Khun Nung's ex-colleague was kind enough to spare one of their room to us at their vacation condo, since Thailand is expecting a long weekend, many Thai were simply travelling up country to relax and spend some quality time with their families. Khun Jaeb was no expection, she got her brother's families roding in as well, it was a pleasant feeling to speak and understand thai chinese lifestyle, we did had some quality chat with khun Joot [kiss in thai] about politic movement in the light of Thaskin resignation.

Tired as we are, we slept and waking up to share breakfast with Khun Jeab's families. The Hospitality was certainly overwhelming indeed. Of course, it's got the girls revved up when they see the beach were clear. They got really excited when they hit the beach next to the condo's compound, poor me just have to keep pressing the camera's shoot button non stops .

After this, we waved goodbye to Khun Jeab's families and brothers and made our visits within Petchaburi's compound and the girl hit jackpot again as we found couples of American styled Factory outlet there, crazy as we were, we swamped the outlets hoping to get some bargain goods. The gals were simply too exhausted and we returned to Bangkok for a nice little Phad Thai noodle at Thipsamai restaurant. Hmm..yummy, aroi mak mak. They were the best served phad thai in BBK, to top it up. They have a web site to showcase their unique culinary skills.

On the last day, the gals hit the local stores at Siam Paragon & MBK for their retail therapies.
You know lah, the bra stuffs are pretty cheap there, Khun Lily & Ivy could not missed the opportunity to stock up the cup collection. haha :D

In summary, i guessed the girls had a wonderful short holiday. Especially for Khun Lily who was due to begin work with Bates Asia Singapore on the following Monday need a break before she lose her free time.

Of course not missing my favorite Beef stew steamboat in Bangkok. The gals were delighted to taste such steamboat in their life. Accordingly to Khun Nung, there's only 2 branches in BBK sell this. :)

Till then, Phop Kan Mai :D I think Khun Lily is missing Thailand soon :p See her rubbing her eye on flight? hahaha :D

Khop Khun Khrap mak.

Workstation upgraded

Faced with a dilemma of running out of hard disk space, i had swapped out the PATA 40GB with a SATA 250GB for unadultated storage.

Now my computer is storage healthy again.

Random thoughts ~ Apr

The weekend has been motionless so far. Besides having a hilarious times with Anna, Gwen and Wendy, Ben & Grace at Liquid room at fri. Little wonder sometimes how simple and genuinity people get, forget the sophistication, forget the snobiety, forget the classy act sometime things need to get to the basics. :)

When i was young and naive [perhaps] i used to think the best ways to live and enjoy one's life is to have plenty of friends. However the strange thing all began when you grew older, each began their own life and styles...and the next thing that spring to your mind was...do you really need so many friends? Besides placing an enormous effort of keeping in touch constantly, sometimes friends need you for all the wrong reasons. And that's reiterated back into the question of why do you need so many friends when you can't maintain them all?

I used to ask Uncle, Kum Seng why he dun go out with friends and remain at his house with his beloved Hi Fi? His response was..what for? Nothing but trouble?...i uttered in silent, speechless perhaps. At least now i know why uncle chose isolation.

Let's hope my existing few crops of friends are not plastic figurine...

I need a rest and peace, perhaps :)

Soccer is everywhere

As the world cup is lurking in 2 months time, many nice advertisements will be put up to inject soccer fever, here is one of them.

The wall translated to "Soccer is good everywhere, but it is much better on ESPN channels"
