AMD go go

Yesterday, AMD has launched a lawsuit against Intel for monopolistic business. I had always admired AMD's innovative processor design and it was AMD introduction of the Athlon (i got the 1st generation processor sitting beside me) processor that prompted Intel to fight a processor price war. Driven with its x86-64 success, the Opteron FX 57 is the fastest single core x86 processor in town. I now join Hector Huiz in his war against Intel!!

Letter to Employees from Hector Ruiz:

A Call to Arms: Stand Up For What is Right

June 28, 2005

Dear Fellow Employees,

AMD is now an undeniable industry leader. In technology -- with our AMD64 technology and our move to dual-core processing. In manufacturing -- with our world-class Fab 30 and Fab 36 as well as our Automated Precision Manufacturing capability. And in marketing -- with examples like our AMD Athlon™ 64 FX, the most powerful PC processor in the world; our upcoming Lance Armstrong Foundation special edition LiveSTRONG laptop; and our global 50x15 commitment, which has earned us great attention on a global stage.

With leadership comes additional responsibility -- specifically, the responsibility to stand up for what we know is right. I am writing you today as a call to arms, to encourage you to join me in standing up for what we know is right -- for our customers, our business partners, our shareholders and us, the great employees of AMD.

AMD has filed an antitrust suit against Intel in the U.S. district court in Delaware to free this industry from monopolistic abuse. With this lawsuit we want to ensure that our competitor is held accountable for its actions.

Intel’s unfair business practices continue to prevent AMD and other industry players from competing effectively, and they hinder customers’ freedom to choose the best available technology. This results in less innovation and higher prices for customers worldwide.

Today, I will be hosting a videoconference for Sunnyvale and Austin employees to explain the litigation, what it means for us and the industry, and to answer questions. Tom McCoy, executive vice president of legal affairs, and chief administrative officer, will join me in this briefing. For those of you who are not based in Sunnyvale or Austin and would like to listen to the meeting, a dial-in number has been provided to all global directors and vice presidents to enable you to do so. In addition, a video webcast of the meeting will be available on AMD Online within one to two days.

As we work toward our victorious day in court, we will need to continue to execute diligently through what will be a long legal process with its inevitable share of highs and lows. But either we take on this fight now, or surrender ourselves to the crippling grips of a monopolist that can and will ultimately obliterate the very things we hold so dear -- innovation and the fundamental freedom of choice. Our reason for being is to follow our customer-centric innovation philosophy and bring the best products to market. We have everything it takes to do so, and indeed, we’ve never been stronger. It’s now or never.

So thank you for all you’ve done and all you will continue to do to help ensure that we, our customers and our industry, once and for all, can break free.

Hector Ruiz

Leocadia leaving for her mission study

Just depatched Leocadia off to the airport for her mission study in Switzerland for 9 months.
The Koh sisters were all there to send her off together with her Bro-In-Law, Jimmy. I guessed it was quite a sad one for the Koh sister.

Anyway, we wish her good luck in her mission study.

DIAGNOSIS: PSYCHIC EPIDEMIC

Manz...worth reading

Psychological Armor

Here said, many of my readers had no interest in wide diversity of topic. But i still decided to post this little article on how Armor vechicle were selected in U.S.

Today, soldier casualties were inflicted not by Iraqi's resistance but they were practically box up in their so-called armor which is responsible for most of the death. As much as i enjoyed seeing heavy casualty of American soldiers to significant carry enough wake up call to every American that this war is immoral. I also pitied the "immigrant" armies for dying in vain. U said it all manz.

But there a little line in the sentence that caught my attention...

"The army, though, wanted to save weight so they told FMC to make the Bradleys out of aluminum. (FMC was later sold and is today United Defense LP, owned in part by George Bush's Carlyle Group.) "

Bradley is an modern army personnel carrier, very much like our M113 carrier who saw service in Vietnam.

So the Bush's wallet string has military manufacturing as well, so now it all made sense why war is such a lucrative business for politicians, you wage war for your benefits, simple say.

My email to a friend....

After returning from Korea and making quick conclusion among other APAC countries. Korea definitely still in the title contention to steal some thunder from China and Indian for economical growth. Thailand remains pretty much not far behind as Thaksin despite not my favorite PM had instill some energy into Thailand economical strides.

All i wish to see is a game plan for a better future. Korea's future is the merger of North and the South Korea within this decade. Malaysia began to consolidate their values and had identify their virtues to propel ahead, probably dollar for dollar battle with Singapore while Indonesia would still need some work in their political stability. Filipine as usual...political is in a shamble as usual, but who cares as domestic maids are bringing in the dough?

So what Singapore's game plan? Casino? More Tax? More red tape? More Foreign talent?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi Robert,
Sorry for the inactivity lately, as i was in South Korea for a business trip for a week. Its my first trip to Korean and i saw wonderful things in Korea that i been wondering why we Singaporean are much jaded as compared to the Korean's achievement.
Nationalism in the act? Perhap?
1st thing that drew my attention is their local manufactured products saw extensive usage in their own domestic market. I agreed that their population was huge, but it's amazing that Korean not only good enough to create products for domestic market but also good for global export. Brands like Samsung, LG, Hyundai really making great inroad and offer great run of money against the Japanese's products. Again i noticed they relied solely on local labour as well. Which is a good thing in my opinions.
Especially developed countries, many low end jobs goes to cheap foreign labour is Ok sight if the economy is strong and having a bull run, because there were enough jobs for everyone to be blue collar and above. But when the economy suffers, many middle managers and blue collars will face tremendous pressure to down size their career should they were laid off. So question is how to create jobs when factories are moving out and nothing revolutionary in manufacturing is being created to ensure that other countries are buying from you.
With so much macro ripple effect when economy is down, domestic labor should be able to fill low end job for survival...but the facts is who will want to absorb domestic labors when typical foreign labors were much cheaper which contributed significant costing saving.
Recent North Korean and South Korean celebrated the 5th years anniversary high level governance meeting in year 2000. Since then, both ties had been cordial with the exception of nuclear issue in North Korean. I was thinking that it was only matters of time the two nations merge. Maybe in 10 years time, i foresee. The merger will be interesting as North Korea offers access to cheaper labor and plenty of factory space without moving to China or India. Despite the drawback will be economical burden to absorb the northern's debt and the way i look at it if it was all manage well, social impact can be minimized (rich south and poor north [assumption]) and many jobs can be created, it could wrestle some economical attention away from China and India.
Overall i see some future in Korea and i see bleak future in Singapore. haha
Such ironical feeling, guessed i have to migrate out before it too late.
Cheers
Introspective
Just touch down from the airport and had taken a response to some of silly emails which some requests really irks me how stupid can their brain get, fancied asking me questions that are so fundamental and some of the questions were indeed covered in my training. Really an insult to my method of teaching. *hng
This Korea trip had brought me some insight on how potential their domestic market can be, picture the domestic opportunities and possible merger with North Korean in 10 years will kinda frighten you how massive their market is going to be. For example, the vehicles on the streets were all Korean's made, the electronic likewise became part of them accessories. North Korean also made their own products for domestic usage, but what so successful about the South Korean is their ability to bring their products outside. That came back to the ultimate question why Singapore unable to churn similar manufacturing capability. Population wise we were small, so car making is obviously not a lubcrative business. But we could build something other than cars? Insteads of allowing domestic SMBs to nurture themselves, our high rise rental coupled with salaries upheaveal in the 90's had triggered an ripple effects on the manufacturing sectors that we began to realise how "incompetitive" we were against our neighbour in particular China. Remedy by importing cheaper labor did not help but harm our job pool, while these Foreign Talents show extreme willingness to work with lesser wages than a
Singaporean. It a sight of bringing the "cost" down.
But the Korean's union were strong and swift to react for equal worker's rights when exploited by corporate's greed. While Singapore's worker union resembled a dog with muzzle did shown how much we bend to get investment from foreign MNC. Introspectively, there were couples of things we were pretty similar to. For example, the same amounts of red tapes and beaucracy in administration, the government linkage in some major industry likes Temasek in SG and SK in South Korea. The men on both ends were drafted to the armies to defend our borders. Korean defends against their North Korean cousin while Singapore defends against so called "muslim" countries (such inhumility). The similarity goes on....but one thing that Singaporean cannot bring forth is the pride of the being korean than being Singaporean.
I am for one is a prime example of a misfit child in single political serving nation [taken from Fight club, single serving meal] haha, the more i fly, the more i hate this island. Sorry folks...i confessed today because i watch a really darn good movie last night after packing my pack not knowing if i could get a flight back to boring SG as i took Korea Air (1 flight per day) All flights were full and i had to force myself to wake up early to call the Korea Airline to see if i got allocated to a seat. Its was my lucky day i guessed, with the help a nice korean gal in the business center.
Let's digress to the movie part. Actually i had brought this DVD movie from the electronic shopping center that Min Sun brought me along, i found "The Motorcycle Diaries" at a media shop selling at 15,000 won. It was a "soon to be pop sub cult" movie that got some raved reviews which i just barely knew that it was just a movie depicting the journey of Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado in their battered Norton bike trekking from Argentina and way up to Peru to explore their south American world. A beautifully crafted movie which had historical showed how the two young Argentines who began with a journey in mind and went parallel ways after the trip. Granado devoted his medical work in Chile while Ernesto Guevara who was the man who wanted to bring equity in mankind and hope to find cure in leprosy in America had later went on to became Che Guevara, a revolution hero in Cuba while fighting along side with Fidel Castro. The movie was vividly created with the assistance of senor Granado and guessed who on board on this production? Robert Redford was executive producer for this entire making. If u like deep movie with intelligent thoughts, then this is a must have collection.
While taking my flight home, i was seat between a senior korean couple and a young pretty korean mom with her kid [hey her finger had no ring! haha] Anyway, i assisted them on the entry card filling as Singapore were all english based, then i realised the birth date of the beautiful korean mom...8 august 1973..kaka so shameless. She was so tender with her 2 yrs old boy....such motherly love. And the old couple thanked me sincerely for helping them filling the entry forms and too bad i dun have too much of a korean to respond. But one thing strike me was the old couple start to discard LOTTE chewing gums...i explained to them that bringing chewing gum is fine but you cannot sell them, thats all.. feeling unconvinced, they insist on discarding the gums.... which lead to think what kind of images Singapore had portrayed itself in the international fabric? Its such a shame that foreigners had to harbor such fears when they visit Singapore. I already seen thru the rots when i was in Polytechnic and now my hatred just grew deeper as days past.
Maybe, one day i will have my own version of my motorcycle diaries across various continentals... except mine will be a BMW bike....instead. :P
Strolling @S.Korea street
First Impression of Korea is it slightly resembled Japan in terms of Infrastructure wise, but the people came off to to their own with colorful and uniqueness in presenting themselves.
A stroll in the street is a pretty exciting sight actually. Korean exhibited strong pride in their nation and culture. in facts, you will be quick to realise there are many missing element in being Singaporean. Trust me. We are not there yet.
A visit to the Korean's Palace brought me to realise how Korea's had strong influences from China's governance structure. The scholar emplacement in high official post and even in the high court, the ranking of the official were lined up based on their official ranking.
Kinda like....a row of 1st class official and henchforth. Being emperor's perspective, it gave u an birdeye view of all his official ranking. Innovating har? Was visiting the Palace, i being a sneaking bastard joined one of the tour guide in "hearing" her guide. The thing that i noticed in....the dragon claw drawn on the wall was "7" claws versa "3" or "5" claws. Further sneaking in her explanaton was due to the victory of "losing China's influence" in 1895 in the Sino-Japan war called "Jiawu War" (甲午戰爭) under the Joseon Dynasty then. Till then 1895, Korea slowly fell under the Japanese ruling as the Chinese were defeated in both Naval and land battle.
On top of that, Taiwan eventually fell under Japan rulling as well notoriously known as "Formosa island"
I also hit the Shopping spots downtown. The shopping lane reminded me of Vancouver's downtown in somewhat, people looking for hip stuffs, this is the place i guessed.
I will add in more stuffs later...and thank to Min sun for sparing her "sleeping" time to show me around to various places. But it won' t be long i step foot again on korea ground again. Rest assured.
Departing in a few moment
I will be departing my way to South Korea's Seoul in an hr later (1930hrs).Will be taking Korean Air this time. My qoute from the Travel Agent vs SQ and KLA is as much $300 difference. I got my ticket about SG$750+ while SQ goes something like SG$1100. Guessed i pass SQ this time and try Korean Air and see how their service fares.
I taken JAL before and i absolutely love to fly with them. Of course the Japanese Flight stewardness is fair skinned cute cute one, which is alway my favour of the day had made my flight so enjoyable. Now that i recalled, it was in year 2001 that i decided to take a long trip to Canada, Vancouver.
That was one year after i made the jump from Semiconductor industry to IT industry, everything did not seemed to work well for me. At one end i missed my National Semiconductor's friends and another end, i learning so much new things and not knowing if the choice i had taken was correct. Winding back to those semiconductor days, i really had a good time there, despite making myself known in the circles, i also groomed many people who eventually had their own chance as well. So anticipating loom years ahead of semiconductor after 97's economy slump, i decided to try a new trade.
So i took my chance to join a startup company called Matrix Communication who deemed to specialised in Network Security. When i joined, i had zero Unix and networking knowledge and all the tekan had made me speed learnt all the basic skill i needed for survival. Its seemed that i had a gift for working things around. Frankly if u asked me how i got thru all the Unix setup, u won't believed how i overcame them. Even till now, i can feel that i making my presense felt in my existing job because i had learnt how to depends on myself and work the problems around. Too sad, that many Singaporean lack the aptitude to work the problem and took the shortcut out by relying on their upstream for support.
Soon, Singaporean will be brain dead from lack of creativity thinking.
Now running back to the JAL thing is was i noticed that a Japanese flight stewardness was sitting opposite me then. She was'nt tat gorgeous, but she's a gem waiting to be found. I had 13 hrs of flight time with "her" hee. Incidently, i saw her at Vancouver's downtown when i was strolling along side a Smoked Salmon shop...i saw her inside. Wow......can't believed. Too bad i did not had the courage to know her. *sob sob
That was some JAL experience....right? haha
Now back to the Korea thing, Min Sun called me to guide me how to get to the Renaissance-Seoul Hotel by taking the Korea Air Line Limo after departing from Gate 4A. Anyway, a friendly call to Leo's sister, Rebecca Koh who flies to Korea pretty frequent had given me much needed starter guide to Korea. Point noted and just realised she and her close buddy, Agnes (Thomas's colleague, my classmate) were working near Suntec, we agreed to have lunch together next time.
Sayanora to my lonely lunch time. A lest, lately i have been taking late lunch for some reasons. I noticed my tummy had small shrink. I so happy.
Lastly but not least, i hope i could work around our Korean's counterpart issue with SCO's Unixware with our disk array.
let's pray my mojo still with me.
And lastly, i hope i not missed in Singapore.
:)
Most honest resignation letter
This had to be one of the most direct "up front fucking Up your ass" resignation letter.
hahaha :D
Enrouting to South Korea
Hee...this is my first trip to South Korea, had heard so much about the nation thru mouths of many friends. Likes, South Korea is the most electronic savvy nation among the APAC. So much so they superseded Japan. And cyberly, they laid the widest Fibre Channel Cabling round the whole nation under the subsidy of the Korean Government. And it seemed that the Thai will soon be picking up content rich mobile and internet services in the next 2 years. Where is Singapore exactly? I dunno. 3G is more hypes than exacting quality deliverance from our monopolistic service providers, coupled with the local regulator IDA, we continue to pay with little QOS return.
Thus i wont be in town for the next few days till 23th Jun. And additionally, after resting one week, i will be flying to Jakarta for a workshop training for few days. Guessed it fly time again.
:D
Dun miss me hor.
What have i been doing lately?
My blog post seemed to be pretty slow these days. Mayb i was a little too strapped in many aspects. Meanwhile, i got some music CD to intro.
For those who have been listening to Electronic music for a long time, Sasha and Digweed had released their Renaissance 10 years mix under Renaissance's label. As what i had found on the web, this mix is heralded as one of the "must have" CD. I not sure exactly what it meant, but CD 3 is one CD that u had felt Sasha & Digweed is once again back for bigger mofo.
Another CD addition into my collection is Trafik's Bullet under Global Underground's label. If you enjoyed stuffs likes Pako and Frederik, then Trafik pretty much ya cup of tea. A little more up tempo and i going to feature one of their tracks in my Vol 20 compilation.
I working on the 3rd tracks now, hopefully i got everything straightened out. I also learning to use loops and "insert" on my mixing now. Lest hope i would yank it out in good order.
Demystifying MLM
This has got to be one of the most talked topic in town. Multi Level Marketing, back in the late 80s, MLM was widely regards as one revolutional way to market and sell a product thru multiple level of network. The idea of MLM is to create a pyramid of personal retailers from the very top to the very bottom.
I had never liked the idea of MLMs as it mostly building network on peers and associates. And usually i would feel it kind of exploit to buy something i dun need based on friendship, despite the slogan of the days are "you are buying the juice of the product without paying more $$ into advertisement and marketing" Sound coolz huh?
Here is the Artice...HERE
Someone going interview tomorrow
Job interview is the most interesting things in life and possibly one of the hardest moment of any possible thing in a working class environment.
Interesting is because, this is the day you knew so much of yourself and able to express yourself as much as you want to. And this could be one the smartest day we had throughout the whole year. Hardest moment is you kept wondering if you are getting the job or possibly feel like shit after a bad interview and kept thinking what i did not said that or why i asked such silly questions.
So for those knocking on someone's door tomorrow for a job interview, let's wish Min Sun our Korean friend who is going for a job interview tomorrow at EMC office all the best.
Banzai!
:D
Just resume my Gym service
Yesterday attended Su Ming's birthday gathering, guessed what? Ken said i put on weight, darn!! :(
It's was a fun night and relaxing nightm i guessed. Birthday girl as usual had all the blahing rights for the occasion. The Red Dot Singapore team had a new addition called. Carries [i think] I recalled she in charges of sales activities.
Anyway, after a frenchy dinner at Kallang side [Not very good leh] we headed off to Queen town club just beside the Queen town rehad. There a little club there for chilling down and pool centre.
Ken was trying to teach me how to play pool, well i guessed it went a little ok....except i kept missing the cue. But i did managed to beat Birthday gal in a one on one game...hahaha
Okie..back to topic. This bloody Ken said i put on a little weight. I was so saddened that he said the truth. Manz...i kept like giving him my scissor kick on his ass. hee hee But hang on, i already had it planned and executing now as i am already resumed my jogging routines and even gone back to the gym today to work my muscle out. Then heading straight to the weighting machine after doing 3km jog.
I stood on the digital unit holding my breath...slowly the digits jumped and stablised at 67kg. Darn!!! 2kg increased since Mar...i better run more to shred more weight and certainly will be detemine to achieve my objectives. I sure i can do it...friend encourage me!!!!
Now what i need to do next is start avoiding temptation from gulpping friends...hehehe :D
Excellent software to manage battery life in a Centrino based notebook
Hey folks, i am back.
For those who are strapping on their Centrino notebook for majority of their work and kept wondering how to extend its battery life.
Try this Centrino Hardware Control which offer customised voltage and cpu throttling.
My IBM T40 is using Banias processor while my HP NX7010 is running on a Dothan processor.
Dothan's processor is more energy efficient.
Whining soldier to his Chief of Airforce
Hee...
Stumbled on this funny "letter" written by a Air Force boy to his Chief of Air Force Commander about the condition of the National Day Parade and all the Kiasu-ism attitudes adopted by the commanders. Credit from Sammyboy
As a matter of facts, i was once involved in the National Day Parade 91' while i was serving in the Air Force as well. As part of the organising continent, we had to do almost everythings likes ushers...coordinators and many more labour roles. The only good things that come apart is no military training for that extended period and unfortunately in exchange for your non military's acitivities most of my weekends were burned for rehearsal and that speaks exactly what i had experienced...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dear CAF (Chief Of Air Force) MG LIM KC,

I am part of the Air Force marching contigent for NDP 2005 and have been burning numerous saturday to be DRILLED TO PERFECTION. I am very proud to be arrowed for this once a year event celebrating our Nation Independence although I was most unwilling in the beginning because I have to spend an entire Saturday morning to afternoon dedicated to the event. However, my base RSM have assured me that we will all feel very proud when we march at the Padang on the 9th of August. RSM say the feeling on the actual day is like having an Orgasm....

However, sir, it have never failed me to realise how damn "Buay Song" I am with the Rehearsal organizing committee! I have been to Nee Soon camp for don't know how many bloody saturday when we were told to get there early and ending up having to wait and wait and wait. Whats the bloody point of telling us to reach Paya Lebar Air Base at 10.30am to have a god damn early lunch, draw our SAR21 drill rifle at 11.00, take a private bus to Nee Soon camp and end up having to sit till our butt grow pimple before the actual parade rehearsal starts at 1.30 ~ 2pm? Everyone reach there at 12.30 leh...... so "Efficient". Rush to wait and wait to rush attitude again?

Sir, actually can make the timing "zun zun" so that the moment we reach Nee Soon camp, we can immediately get DRILLED after 5min of rest. SAF must be a Efficient fighting force mah, simple thing like the timing should get it correct what? Otherwise we sit there lobo 1 hr not only waste our bloody weekend time but also tax payer money leh! I love to be DRILLED but I hate to wait man!

Than hor, sir I want to highlight this very very big issue that is affecting the morale of the Air Force supporting contigent. We use to have comfortable private bus to fetch us from Paya Lebar Air Base to Nee Soon camp and vice versa. I remember on one of the rehearsal the Parade commander say that Singapore economy this year "Eat Grass" and NDP will have to cut budget but quality will be still there, I thought this is not my problem. Bloody Hell, the next few parade rehearsal we end up having old SBS bus picking us up! Sir, you never take public transport before (and never will) you never know how inadequte is the leg space on SBS Bus is. Our knees are literally pressing on the back of the seat in front of us, not to mention the SAR21 rifle taking away some of the leg space too. I think only Frodo or Yoda will find the seat comfortable. Man.... this not only affect morale but also affect out knee cap leh. Sir, I know you seldom or maybe have never been DRILLED in life but you must know our knee cap very precious one leh! Wait cannot march how? Somemore normal days still have to do Aircraft work leh. I think SAF should give the private bus company a chance lah.... nowadays government almost monopolise the transport market till private bus company "Pai Tan Jia", we should just give private bus a go. Win win situation mah, help them earn money and boost the economy and also help to boost our morale!

Lastly ah Sir, I want to complain one last thing. After going through 2-3 round of parade rehearsal at Nee Soon camp, its time to go home. Ka ni na, we all very good soldier....report for parade sharply but when its time to go home keep on dragging and dragging....the bus keep on coming late...sometime have to wait Bloody 2 hrs long! Where got such thing one SIR? Its like lending money right? I lend you money, you return me promptly than next time I will be willing to lend you again mah..... Don't keep us back too late next time ok?

Thank you sir for reading my letter. Hope you don't feel offended by the way I write cause I only diploma engineering and only a 2nd Sar-Germ. If I knew earlier on huh, I would have study very very very hard, go university, get an SAF scholarship and end up working with you up there with gold bar, gold crab and gold star. Maybe can even be Chief of Air force leh...mai xiao xiao hor.... ha ha. All the best to your work

Your sincere,
2SG XXXXXX

Battlestar Galactica ~Remake and Revives

Manz...just got a DIVX version of the modern remake of Battlestar Galactica.

Used to watch the Battlestar Galactica Classis series on the telly as it was known when i was young, and characters likes Cmdr Adama, Cpt Apollo & Lt Starbuck were fond memories in our own child's rights.

The story evolves the battle between mankind and Cylon (similar to the clone army but they are robot instead) the Battlestar Galactica series made it debut in 17 Sept 1978 on ABC-TV. I bet some of my readers were likes 2-4 years old then.

Winding back to the new remake of Battlestar Galactica, it's CG space crafts were very well done. Characters wise were no longer the old characters that i used to know, insteads their children of the previous series taking up the helm. Now i am getting hooked...shitz man. Have to dock my Vol 20 compilation to finish the 3 three seasons.

Now i am in love with Flight Gal's Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace, the rebellious female pilot.....hee and certainly Lt. (j.g.) Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii [Korean's Origin] looks like good mistress quality..kakaka

ssshhhshhhhh Manz...Reminded me of Origin's Wing Commander Space Adventure series. Yikes..i almost played them all.

Working my new compilation ~ DJ Intenze Vol 20

After weeks of indulging on Mp3s ripping and tracks uploading into my iPods. I had finally decided to work on my latest DJ Intenze's compilation christened as Vol 20.

The flavor of the day was quite vague to me at the moment, but i was thinking of blending old and new tracks together as a total new perspective in Electronic perspection. Kinda like a logical Progression into my mind.

In addition, i would like to try new trick in my new album...but i need to build "virtual" tracks layout for the moment now..

Watch out for my progress.

Deciphering your dream

Manz...if you ever need to decipher your dreams. Look no further than our Ken's Blog who had frequent dreams and a strong urge to recollect his dreams he.

Culture shock ahead and his dreams are pretty funny to say... :p U r forewarned..i must said

Meeting with Red Dot

Just lift off my butt to meet Ken Koo of Red Dot and Su Ming for a sumputous lunch @12pm near their office @Little India, couple of blocks away from old LTA building. As our friends have been busy making things happen in Singapore for the upcoming Red Dot Design Award 2005 to be hosted in Singapore. I afraid i may not have the time to hang out with these great friends. Particularly Su Ming is piecing the International participants up while Ken is busy turn reality from drawing board.

As present the Red Dot Design 2005's registration close at 31st of July and for those design "inclined" wannabe like me can access Red Dot's website for more details :P

And finally their Apple's PowerBook and iBook really made me drool....

:P~~

iPod clone wars in Taiwan

The clone war has began

The recent Computex in Taiwan had sprawned many iPod Clones and i have to admit some of the clone makes were pretty much improved version of the original iPod.

Likes having FM and LCD display on a iPod Shuffle lookalike and many more.

And for people who were shagging off iPod as poser product ought to re examine it's impact in our daily life. Yes, i can be philosophically deep if i needed to, but to see a product's lifestyle seeping into our eco-life system ought to think why Steve Jobs and team must be genius in making a product so successful, bearing that there were up to 4 millions of iPod users in planet earth could made u think that 4 million of such owner could be wrong? Think again?

I learnt a lot in the last Power Presentation training and wondering why people were so successful in their own rights? Being radical, leader, opportunist are one of the few attributes in reaching there. I hope many readers will be inspired to be Steve Jobs for being such a business evanglist.

As it seemed success we must be different if we must [yoda's english] haha :D

Phew...a long week had passed

Last week was probably the longest week in May as we were gearing for our APAC partner training and laying our product's roadmap for the end quarter to get the partner excited.

One last reseller event had kicked off today and finally had come to an end. Really looking forward to rest before the pre-sales tasks start to flood my inbox.

Wish me luck ok..
