Was Singapore's rapid growth in 90s a myth

I edit my thought laters...

But as far as i could add, our GDP required tremenous "input" or "effort" in order to achieve. Thus i always said Singapore is not economically "Efficient" as we need to pour in more labor to achieve the expected growth.

Assumingly we need to maintain our constant of GDP's achievement with reference to variables like Labour which is seeing great decline due to aging work force and fewer babies over the years...

Where else could u have more labour "input" than importing "foreign" labour.
