Hee..Dell's 3rd Quarter is slipping
Intel's Whore, Dell is slipping its 3rd quarter earning, from USD$13.1 millions from it 's forecast earning of 14.5 millions. Sounds like a good news to me, alright alright. i confessed, I am an anti-Dell person, ok? As much as i envied Michael Dell for formulating his direct sales business model. I absolutely hate his galls.
Dell to me sell shites! Nothing elses is great. I think their products are not top notched quality ranging from my past encounters with their premium products. I think they compromised quality for $$ value. And part of the reasons Dell is facing formidable opponents with those AMD's Opteron offering. IBM, SUN and Gateway have committed offering using Opteron as their top of the range x86 flagship product while DELL refusal to offer Opteron solution to their customers because DELL gotten great concession from Intel, everyone knew Dell is whoring for Intel. Nothing else. Coupled with the recent shortfall of intel chipset's of it's motherboard, AMD seemed to have profited from Intel recent hiccups.
1st the chipset issues, 2nd the inability to match AMD product superiority with the recent launch of PAXVILLE processor, Intel's server vision is pretty distorted at the moment, with no clear cut direction and solution to it lag in technology advantage against AMD. And recently Intel seemed to shallow it's pride when they picked up Hypertransport license for a possible use of it's interconnect technology to salvage its inteconnect woes when it was pretty obvious that the NetBurst architecture and CSI architecture that Intel been singing are not up to scratch, lacking a memory controller built-in within the processor's core, AMD Opteron is leaving dusts on Intel face, worst the new Paxville dual core processor is slower than a single Opteron!! Itanium is being dropped by IBM leaving HP the only co-developed partner to front against RISC and x86-64 processors.
Bad news, bad news...Dell's shortfall also laid it's blame on defective capacitors issues on the Optixflex desktop computer and begin an intensive field to recall and replace those affected batch. G'luck mate.
