What's on my ear bud

Just brought two CDs from Raspody Record who ran by a friend called Alvin Ang. Business did not seemed to look good for him as his music audience were all either moving out or people r strapping for cash. I hope his business stays good. We did had couples of music exchanges and i learnt from him that DJ Sasha and John Digweed were aiming at the America's West and East coast audience in the their previous work that prompted Paul Oakenfold to create BUKKA. Anyway, many of the DJs aka Producers were focusing on soundtracks production..where the good $$ is.

BT, Orbital had done that and now..Sasha, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold is doing it...

The CDs i brought were Global Underground EXPOSURES and Bent's Ariel...

Exposures was mixed and compiled by DJ Forth and in my opinion presented quite an excellent piece of compilation. Chill and electronica, textures and layering were there to juice things up a little. Noticeable, his effort is very similar to Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Pako & Frederik. Life is worth every bits...churning bits and byte into my ear drum.

Bent's Ariel is pretty good as well after a busy work and a tiring day...it will sooth u down for a sleeping moment. Hee..but as a home DJ, these kind of tracks are important to be added to slow things down a little.

Incidently, a music preference will determine the character of a person...do u believe?
